my yorkie, Buddy have had a few seizures. the first time the vet told me to just monitor him because he might not have another. about 2 years later he did. this time blood work was done and it was okay. he gave me valium and told me to give it to him if he get groomed or any other situation that could stress him. i hope he doesnt have another. it is very difficult to see my buddy go thru this. also the vet said if the seizures continue he will put him on phenobarbital. he told me that this medicine has side effects. pray for Buddy. |
