She spent 5 days in the hospital and it is a miracle that she has survived. She is doing better now, and her labwork is coming back normal except still a small amount of coccidia in her stool. The vet is continuing the Albon for another week and thinks that will take care of it.
My problem is she will not eat very easily. She appears to be interested in food, but she smells the food and turns her nose up at it. She will eat boiled chicken, but only about 1 to 2 tsp. about once or twice a day. She will eat Nutri-cal fine between times.
Willow is only 0.75 pounds and she has a long way to go. Are ther any suggestions on how to get some meat on her bones?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am sorry your baby is sick. Try giving her the Canned A/D food from the Vet.With her being that small she needs to eat.
