They are all very close in age, especially the younger 3, within 16 months of each other....was I dumb?? When they get old will I face one heartache after another?

Try not to think that way. I know it's hard not to.

I did have this happen to me and it was just heart breaking to me.

I lost my Molly at age 12 in Oct. 2010, lost my Annie age 13, 2 months later on New Years Eve 2010 and then lost my Lizzie age 15, 11 months later last Nov. 2011. So that was 3 within a years time I lost.

The 3 I have now are also close in age, they are healthy but I like you have thought again about this. I just try and keep it in the back of mind and not go there.
