8AM Last evening I got some good new for Hope. She was drinking a bit of water. But this morning all that good news has been dashed away. Yesterday the vet gave her a meal at 5pm of higher protein to see if she would head press and this morning when he went in she was almost comatose. She is just laying there and not really seeing with a far away look in her eyes. We are sure now this is a liver shunt baby. Di I take her to Purdue animal clinic which is a university clinic about 80 miles away? If they do diagnois a shunt can I afford the surgery? This is horrible news. I asked the vet for a few hours before I have to tell him to euthanize her or not. |
