Haha! Vaccines are important, but there's a ton of other stuff they can catch that there are no vaccines against! My Peek had a strain of Corona Virus that infects mostly dogs kept under stress (he got it from Tink the week we brought her home from the Humane Society). And then the stress of having a new dog...etc. Quarrantine is best, though usually impossible in the home.
Best bet: Get cultures and sensitivities on them both... that can shorten the treatment time and get them both better quicker than trying different antibiotics....
