sorry to hear this about ur baby,, but i feel better knowing they took the whole limb off as leaving part limb is worse,,,
my boy sonny had his whole foot chewed off right up past the due claw
[bad breeder story] he kept hitting the bone off the ground and we were trying everything to keep it covered but nothin worked, he had to go about with that till he was 1yrs old so he wud be healthy enough to go thro the full limb amputation,, he is now 4 yrs and is a healthy beautiful boy , very speedy and runs like a greyhound lol i have pic in my photo album of him,, i was more devistated than him lol only thing i keep an eye on is his diet, i dont let him be overweight or it will put to much strain on the other leg

ur baby will do well.
