People with certain breeds should know to take extra precautions and it is every dog owners responsibilty IMHO to socialize their dogs properly.

I carry mace...pepper spray is legal and a very smart idea.
When we go to the woods or river hiking even campingfor in resorts etc I have bear spray we always take...ironically the only time I have ever pulled it out was for an unleashed growling dog charging us...thankfully the owner ran up and restrained their dog just before I sprayed. |
What does "bear spray" do? Never heard of it. Is it stronger than mace?
