Luckily for you you probably had the one without the latex components. For people who are very sensitive to latex like my friend, she is having a very widescale reaction to the latex...she didn't know about the latex connection with the flu shot. In the future you should make sure you receive the one without the latex components. Why take a chance?

I can't imagine a teacher NOT getting the shot...when my kids were school age I was sick all the time with the ills they brought home! I commend all teachers for what you do and all that you have to put up with these days, I hope its rewarding to know that you make a difference...!
