It's unbelievable to me that a reputable breeder would expect someone to take a defective puppy without reducing the price or covering the cost of the repairs herself. I also would have expected her to have contacted you immediately once the hernias were first found so you could be informed as soonas possible of this development and make appropriate decisions with that knowledge, particularly with your own medical condition. I have never heard of such a thing and though I haven't had that many Yorkies myself, I have done a lot of phone calling, going to meet breeders, see their dogs/living quarters and talked to an awful lot of other pet owners about their purchase situations and breeders. Never have I come across this one. It was responsible of you to post this information for anyone who might now or in the future consider dealing with this breeder. It is certainly something I would want to know about her. And whatever kind of dogs of she had, frankly I for one would not be dealing with her, knowing how she treated you. i'm sure sorry you've had your hopes and dreams for life with this little one dashed. I hope and pray you find the dog you need and want very, very soon. Please keep us posted on your progress.
