I believe that you made the right decision. Those hernias were present at the breeders home, while she still had possession of the puppies. It is the breeders' responsibility to cover the cost of hernia repair.

You definitely made the right decision to pass on this puppy!

I really feel that it is best to wait awhile before doing breeder reviews. This time will allow you to really "see" how the breeder responds to you over time, and how well the puppy matures into a healthy adult.
