Have you ever seen something hit by a car and feel bad about it? Even if it is an animal you are not very fond of?
I was coming home from my son's football game. There was a car in front of me and right in front of my house the car hits a possum. The thing is, he didn't kill it. But I know he hit it.
I felt so bad for it because it made me think maybe it was suffering. I know I know. Weird huh. We tried to find it because we were going to stop its suffering. But we were unable to find it. Now I am worried there might be an injured possum in my yard.
I don't want my girls to find it that is for sure. So, now I am worried it is suffering and I am also worried my girls with run into it in the yard. UUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!
