Burr tttooo cold to pottttttttttttie: Yorkies are used to being pampered and spoiled and they are smart. They don't want to be outside in the wind, rain, snow or cold, like us, they love comfort. So sure they hate going out to potty in bad weather, and prefer the kitchen throw rug for a bad weather potty and your lap to nap in. As a trainer I think training them to to use an inside pee-pad should be taught as a puppy. It is easier than trying to teach an older dog. Maybe some one else has some good hints about how to cross train an older dog.
