It's the tee tree oil that is in pure oil form (not diluted) that is toxic, if ingested. Most pet products that contain tee tree oil is diluted & should be safe to use. But I personally would not feel comfortable giving my fur babies anything w/tee tree oil in it that they will ingest, like toothpaste.
