Oh my goodness....a tiny little fella! Retained baby teeth are common in Yorkies and more often than not, when the pup is spayed or neutered, you can expect to have retained baby teeth to be removed. I dont feel comfortable subjecting any of my babies to surgery until they weigh at least 3 lbs!!! The permanent teeth will come in along side the baby teeth, and either push them out or those are the ones you will have to have pulled. As his permanent molars come in, they will push those loose molars out....they swallow teeth all the time...not what we really like to happen, but not unusual.
