Toki is back! We just returned from the vet...she is bearing weight on her leg and it feels so good to see her use it! She seems a little uncertain about what's going on with that back leg but hopefully we'll see a lot of improvement during the next few days and the recovery process.
I was so worried about leaving her all night but this hospital shares a building with an emergency animal clinic whose staff watches the pets overnight. That was definitely reassuring to me... I am so pleased with the vet and the staff who did Toki's surgery and provided her with such great care.

As soon as we got home, she rang the potty bells to go out and then when we came back inside, she jumped right into her bed to take a nap. I feel so much better having Toki back at home!
