If you don't want him in bed, it's not a good idea to give in and sleep with him. He is learning that barking gets him what he wants... If you have to, maybe put him in a different room in the evening so he will be less likely to try and wake you up. With my fosters, I give them their own bed on the floor so we don't have any issues with them wanting to be in our bed.
