If you don't want him sleeping with you then you're going to have to stop letting him do it. He has learned that barking gets him what he wants. Also if he's crated all day and all night then he's probably lonely. I would ignore his barking until he finally gets the idea that he's not going to get what he wants. Could you leave him in an expen during the day?
