How Chizzie got her name is a long story - here's the short version. I worked as an elementary school Media Center parapro when I got Chizzie. We read the Georgia Storybook Award Nomniees to the kids. That year my personal favorite was The Chizzywink and the Alamagoozlem. Reading the book to the kids I fell in love with Chizzywink which is another name for a mosquito in Florida. And because the new pup was a tiny ankle biter the name seemed perfect. Personally, I don't like the letter "Y" so I used "ie" instead. Chizzie's mother was Bell and her father was Yahoo (no joke). So Chizzie's full registered name is: Chizziewink Atyahoodotbell (At Yahoo Dot Bell).
