Does anyone know the process that the Gerber company uses to purify their nursery water?

My granddaughter, age 10, keeps telling me to buy my own filter and stop buying bottled water because of all the plastic used. I tell her I recycle, and I do, but she is not satisfied with that answer. I suppose I will eventually buy a water filter if I can find one that can do what I would like it to do. I have a friend that put a water distillation device in their house when they built it. They get it from a separate tap on their kitchen sink. I don't think that is going to happen here though.
I use filtered water for the water I drink, it removes the chlorine which can affect the taste, the filters can also remove fluoride and pesticides, it depends on the filters. The filter water did not help with Joey's eyes only the distilled water did. I believe my container of Gerber’s water said "Distilled water", so that means they use the distilling process. By the way, those under the sink setups are great, all you need is the extra hole in the sink, and some sinks already have an extra hole hidden by a cap. Also, if you get a new faucet some don't require the traditional three holes so you have holes left over.
