I also know Joann personally and completely agree with jojorae29. A purchased a female Yorkie from Joanne in 2010. My Sassy was born June 13, 2010 and when I saw a picture of her, I fell in love with her. I called the breeder and she was very cautious about who she wells her puppies to. Sassy was very small when she was born and Joanne would not release her to me until she was a certain weight, eating properly and made sure she was in good health with no problems. I finally got her when she was 3 1/2 months old. She was expected to be small 3-4 lbs and her current weight is 2 pounds 10 oz. She is very small but beautiful strong and healthy. The vet tells me she is really doing great for such a small dog. You do of course have to be more careful with these little ones as they are more fragile. But I wouldn't trade her for anything. She has such a wonderful personality. Her hair is long and beautiful, (already touches the floor. Her picture is posted on this website. I would definitely recommend her as a breeder.
