Most of the time, I let them stay in the room that we are doing something to, sometimes that's hard to do because they are in the way, but if they are involved with the change, they accept it more easily. So last month we took out the living room carpet, put in a laminate floor and got new furniture. They would have been beside themselves if we didn't let them in the room, but we just did it and didn't make a big deal of it and let them come & go as normal and they were fine with it. | This cracked me up! |
