Does any else yorkie get grumpy when he's sleepy? Ever since Columbo was a puppy, he has turned into a different dog when he's sleepy. At night, when we are winding down, usually watching tv, he is in his bed. When we wake him up and go to pick him up to take him upstairs to bed, he becomes a completely different dog and sometimes snaps, sometimes dives over to "protect" his bones, just acts like a lunatic. He turns into who we call "Bobohyde", because he's just crazy! After a few seconds when he is more awake, he give kisses and sort of asks for forgiveness. Like "I'm sorry mommy, I didn't mean to do that, I just can't help myself". He's obviously groggy when he's like that and it's something he doesn't have any control over. He's now almost nine and we notice he sleeps a bit more (although he's always been a couch potato) and sleeps deeper, so the Bobohyde behavior is getting worse as he ages. Is this a yorkie behavior or is my dog just a little weirdo?
