Some dogs are sensitive to certain ingredients in dog food. If you have hard water that can effect the tearing also.
I have had Gracie on a grain free raw diet for quite a while and she only had a small amount of eye discharge. When I switched her to distilled water the drainage stopped totally after 2 weeks. I ran out of bottled water and could not get to the store for a couple of days and she started the tearing almost right away. It must be the mineral content in the water supply. |
