If you become a poster on YT, which I hope you do, you will see regardless if you ask for advice or input that any comments you make will be open to response comments, especially when it involves pet stores, puppy mills, health of a puppy etc. The clearer the post and the more information given makes it easier on those of us reading it to respond appropriately. I also do not like it when members especially new ones start feeling attacked. But in this case I think the fact that her husband who is a vet would condone a purchase of a yorkie let alone two from a pet store and then allow them to be bred to be beyond believable. I would think all reputable vets by now know about pet stores and where the animals come from so they would not encourage them to be bred. Had that not been the case here I doubt the thread would have gotten so hot.
I feel the OP was attacked. I also think there was many other ways of trying to get the point across… I also don’t think her husband being a Vet should know more or less about puppy mills than I do, my Vet has been a vet for 10+ years, he is rather old school- I doubt he would tell me anything I don’t already know about puppy mills. To make that judgment on her husband is just ignorant. Not everyone bases their lives on stopping puppy mills or spreading the word around so not everyone should be treated as such.
