About 5 years ago, my MIss Minnie ran out the back door and attacked a possum, which appeared to be bigger than her, in our back yard. She had a hold of it and it shook her hard, breaking her jaw in 3 places. She came running back in the house with blood coming from we could not tell where. X-Ray showed the breaks, which required surgery and wiring the jaw back together. She recovered, but it sure gave us a scare.
These little dogs can sure be fearless.
The first two Yorkies I had used to bail off of our bed in attack mode, shortly after the alarm went off in the mornings. Both aimed straight for my hubby's pet cocker, parked in the hall, outside of the shower waiting for my husband to exit. It was very definite who was in charge here... She outweighed each easily by 25 or more pounds, but she was scared to death of the little minxes. Like I said, "fearless."
