We are working on it slowly. Going out and sitting in the car without going anywhere, driving up and down the driveway, a little drive around the block. Poor guy, he just does not like going for rides. |
I've read that ginger is helpful with nausea (in humans as well as animals) and that sometimes giving a dog a gingersnap cookie before travel can help. Not only do they get the ginger to help with the motion sickness, but they also get a treat which makes them associate car rides with good things. We may try this on our next drive.
