Default Blind Yorkies

I have 2 blind yorkies, each about 3.5 lbs. They are like a "NORMAL" dog but they just can't see. They do take a little extra time but they are the most loving dogs I've ever had and I've had them since they were 12 wks old. They developed blindness from their parents, they were born 2 yrs apart with same parents. The oldest now will be 15 in Dec. she got PRA, progressive retina atrophy 3 yrs ago and doing ok, you would never know she was blind if it wasn't for her white eyes. Her little sister , going on 12 yrs old in Nov, just went blind with a cataract in her only eye left. Her other eye had to be removed due to glaucoma. Both eye problems were inherited from their parents. The breeder did not get the breeding pair checked for eye problems and I did not know this or ask this question when we bought them. For any compassionate person who is willing to take in a blind dog, you won't regret it, they give back 150% + in love. There is a blind group online at Blind Dogs.net - Where dogs see with their heart! - Home with lots of information. Blind dogs see with their heart <3 and are so loving! I have 2 blind yorkies and I'm proud to be their mommie !!
Thanks for the tip on Petco Clearance, gonna look for twin clothes for my 2 little blind yorkies tomorrow.
