Me and hubs used to run w/ Wylie and omg, it was SO FUN! We'd run at the base of some mountains we live right by and he'd just have a blast. I think if you worked your kiddo up to it there would be no reason he couldn't go with you.
Now that we have 3, we just do walks. But it sure was fun when we used to run.
