My Nanny is from Italy while wheat pasta is readily the norm most Italian people who make their own add apices and herbs in the mixture of the pasta mix so the pasta itself is flavored-usually word of mouth family secret mixes.
Also try vegi pasta bkends with whole wheat...I dislike egg noodle pasta its nasty except in some soups IMHO. |
