 Shedding When Have A Bath
Hi, is it normal for Yorkies to shed when they have a bath. Rambo's hair was quite long and I decided to trim him when we came back from vacation but because he moved around so much I took off more than I wanted to. When I bathed him right after the cut there was quite a bit of hair in the water which was to be expected. But today when I bathed him there was a LOT of hair that was coming off of him. If it was dry I bet I probably could have had a handful of it. Is this normal? Rambo will be 1 year old on the 28th. He's not got any bald spots, hair isn't thin, no health problems, eating, peeing & pooping normally. I'm just wondering as his darker hair is starting to get lighter and lighter turning more silver as each day goes by, is it the dark hair that turns silver or is the silver hair growing in black of the darker hair and then this is what's being washed away.
