The only edible things I might trust sort of from the Dollar Store is well-known brands in the package such as Snickers candy bar, Coca-Cola and other well-known brands of snack foods. The off labels - I don't know anything about what kind of factory they were produced in and what type of swamp or rat-infested hole that food might have come from, let alone what the food itself is like and what was done to it in the growing process of its basic ingredients, its storage, transport, cooking and things like that. Just don't trust myself or my dog to eat off brand foodstuffs. So I wouldn't let my Tibbe eat something from the Dollar Store unless it happened to be a brand I knew and then I would wonder why they were selling it and if it were really contraband from China or something. I'd pass.
