I personally would never buy anything from the dollar store for my fur babies. I get their food from a local boutique, only bc nobody else carries them. It might cost a little more, but I will spend whatever I can afford for them & I can eat cup o noodles loll!
In all seriousness, it's what your dog does best on when it comes to food. Mine can't tolerate any grains (their #2 gets a little soft, indication of allergies or food intolerance), so they eat grain free kibble. I just recently found out that their kibble has 'natural ingredients' in it, so the endless search for the perfect kibble goes on...
