Maybe a second opinion, a second set of hands and eyes to examine her and another skill set to take a fresh look. Just get a copy of her records and let someone else evaluate her? My friend once had to force feed her cat for 3 weeks when she was about 7 years old and she was down to skin and bones she was so ill B4 she was properly diagnosed by another vet and treatment instituted. Her first vet had said there was nothing more to do. The cat lived to age 21.
