These are prescription diets, yes both are good. Until your vet prescribes one, I would try to stay around 18-20% protein.

There's a lot of info out there... I would recommend to just wait and see what the tests show at this point...
It is a possibility that it could have affected the results as it is technically considered a toxin, vaccines can too, as they are processed in the liver....Revolution is what my vet recommends for Tink, he said it's one of the safest to use for liver compromised dogs. Tink has never had a problem using it.
