Is he a vegetarian? I am Type 1 diabetic and eat very well, brought my LDL down, My HDL up and my triglycerides (sp) down. My A1C stays in the 5.5 to 6 range. I count every carb that goes in. I weigh all my food...unless we go out. Then I use the knowledge I have learned at home and make really good guesses. My average monthly BS is about 120...
