I have a female boxer, a female chihuahau and a male yorkie, the male yorkie and the female boxer LOVE each other, the female chih ignores them both (tries to the yorkie he is all in her buisness). Both Heff and Zeta (Boxer) are VERY lovable, but Lex (chih) is one of those who will come to you when SHE wants attention types. In my opinion it has more to do with indiviual personalties than gender
