I've seen wonderful males and females. We prefer female dogs and have had better luck with females over the years. We had trouble dealing with males lifting their leg on stuff in the house. Maybe we just don't have the patience for them to get fully trained and grow out of that. I don't think I'll ever own another male dog for that reason alone. We love our girls and will always own female dogs.
