It pains me to write this but our sweet Dany passed away 5 days ago on 8/22/12 at 12 weeks old. She was still battling the pancreatitis. She took a turn for the worse last week and was hospitalized. She was having diarrhea, was anemic, and they had just diagnosed her with campylobacter as well. The vet thought she could make a recovery, but she just got worse at the hospital. She stopped breathing, was resuscitated, but then her heart rate was failing and her breathing was shallow which became due to fluid filling in her lungs. In the end, she was just too sick to make it. I will miss her terribly We still don't know the primary cause of her death and why she was having so many complications. The vet say we may never know why she got pancreatitis, why she was anemic, it could just be a variety of secondary issues to the pancreatitis or something else entirely.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss Dany. This is just all so very sad.
