What a tragic and shocking way to lose your little Yorkie. I am so sorry for your great loss. If pre-op blood work didn't catch it but post-op blood work did, makes you wonder what different blood tests were done, if any. I personally haven't heard of spaying bringing on pancreatitis but if there was no indication she had it before, perhaps the stress of the surgery and pain did? It is truly every dog owner's worst fear - losing our dog from doing the right things such as spaying, neutering, dental cleanings. What a heartache you have to live with - I know it is going to be so very hard from here on out. May God grant you some peace and healing knowing you did all that you could.
