Alisha, your post made me smile. I'm so happy you were able to save Bella's leg! As I told you in one of my earlier posts, I rescued a little Yorkie very recently that had to have a leg amputated and I would have done anything to have saved it. We tried everything, but the damage was just too severe. Although he has learned to walk on 3 legs, there is not a day that goes by that he does not take a "tumble" and it breaks my heart. When I come home and they are all excited to see me, my others can run and jump up...when he tries, he loses his balance and usually falls! There are lots of other times that it would be so much easier if he still had his other leg, as he is still a puppy and has so much energy! He's a trooper and will do fine, I'll make sure, but life will be easier for Bella with all 4! Sweet dreams to you both!
