I noticed my dogs play differently with my son then figured out why. He would play tug of war, running, jumping on the couch, just general rough play where I hear the dog with this 'gonna getcha' type snarl. Not angry but very focused on aggressive play. I had to teach him and hubby that the rough, mouthy play isn't good and shows that is the way to get started playing and how to play with everyone. Shanti will be 4 in Novenber and still will run up to me and use my leg as a springboard. She jumps, hits my leg then propels off. I hate that.
Maybe your baby just thinks everyone that size should be played with that way. It's fun for the kids to have puppy chase them and growl a bit and not get them.
Do the children play hard with your baby?
