You got to your vet before I read and decided to post the exact same thing. There will be stool on the bulb of the thermometer if there is poo in the hiney.. Also, you can rub a little KY jelly on her hiney-hole to add more lubrication. You have to be careful, as your vet aid, and insert only the bulb part .BTW, if you use a dig Therm, you can do the same thing. They have a little silver-colored tip and that is as far as you push it...The suggestion of NutriCal works...
Yoy have done a great job with raising that wee one...You are a truly good mom...
