We just brought our little girl, Marcy, home tonight...so far so good. She got here at 6:30 p.m., and by 10:15 p.m., she was chasing and playing with Abby (our 2 1/2 yr. old) and vice versa. It took Abby the first 4 hours to size her up, they smelled each other, she played with some of Abby's toys while Abby watched her, and eventually they were staring at each other on the floor and just started chasing each other...we didn't try to put them together - basically left it up to them to see what happened...When my sister introduced a new puppy, it took her adult dog quite a while to adjust and want anything to do with the new one, but now they love each other!
