He is an adorable little guy. Most terriers are. He looks like he could be a mix. Did you see both parents? He looks to be a pretty good size for the age you stated so i would not count on a 8lb dog. If size is really important to you I would not get the dog unless you have seen both parents and they are quite small. Even with that there is just no way someone can say for sure the dog will be 8lbs or under. Many people here have Yorkies that are 8, 12. 15 and on up to 20lbs. Many people tell stories about how the breeder told them that the puppy would not be larger than 5lbs and yet the dogs grow way beyond that. Personally, I don't think there is a thing in the world wrong with a 10 to 15lb dog. One of my friends lives in an apartment complex that has a 20lb maximum on dogs. But as I said if size is really important to you I would not take the risk although he is just adorable. |
