I have a Yorkie who presented with this at 14 wks (around). I am not one to keep mental notes when I'm going through things- I choose to keep moving forward and put my faith and trust in the Drs and the big guy above! I will tell you this, a cardiologist will tell you what the issue is, and it could be one of several conditions, so I won't venture to guess. Once your cardiologist does his tests and exams you will know how to proceed, I promise. You, like me, want to do whats best for the pup. I will tell you that my baby is now 9 mos. and has had a few close calls recently, but the cardiologist still thinks she may outgrow it, unfortunately her litter mate (sister) did not and passed away not to long ago...so each case is definitely different. I believe she is with me for a reason, and regardless of anything long time or short time I am so glad I have her...
I wish you luck and keep us posted and when you get the results let us know, we will be here for you.
Please, do tell us the name of your breeder, or pm me.
