Did you know if you own 6 breeding females to be legal you are suppose to have a kennel license thru the Illinois state Dept of Agriculture, which adheres to the USDA regulations?
I always thought people with this license had tons of different breeds or tons of one breed. Not true. A few of them Im sure now are just being legal.
Ive been looking into a license and found this out recently. In regards to the website, I see no mention of having to cut a dogs hair off to meet regulations in the book???? Did you see the size of chain on this clipped yorkie ? Is it around his neck? FOr heavens sake.
It was very disappointing to me to know that being licensed makes you house your dogs in a separate building, especially with the change being at so few of a number. |
So, a breeder being on the USDA list, is, not always, a bad thing? (I'm not referring to this particular breeder, as we can all see, they're inhumane.) I'm just wondering about the USDA list and reputable breeders.
