It is interesting that ALL I did was say that it might be dangerous and I suggested a vet. Then, someone got very defensive ....

So far no one has offered conclusive evidence it is a safe treatment...just because she was told to do it by one vet does NOT mean it is safe. Maybe she got lucky. If I were YM1 I would be wondering if indeed this was bad advice from the vet.....She says it was years ago and things are different. Yes, they are....frontal lobotomies used to be done on people.

Futile and yet I still am trying like a fool.
