I'm leaning towed home cooking because none of my 3 like the same foods. Allie has a grain allergy I'm pretty sure- she was constantly biting at her feet til I switched, and Westley has gooey eyes, but they haven't cleared up since I switched, so I'm not sure what's causing them. Noah appears to be underweight to me, but he's actually my best eater... I'm giving them another month to 6 weeks on the blue buffalo grain free and then going to home cooking if I don't see better results. |
It's been really hot here, hoping that's what it was. It always happened after we came back from our evening walks. He's always had sweet potatoes b4 & never threw up bc of it...
I have the same dilemma! Momo has grain allergies, skinny but eats like a widdle piggie, Princess is the itchy one, Mimi is very picky (but LOVES THK) & Turbo's Mr. goopy eyes.
The only thing keeping me from home cooking is the fear of over or under supplementing. My holistic vet gave me a handout about home cooking w/her own recipe. I'll follow that & see how it goes. Please PM me if anybody wants the recipe. Not sure if I'm allowed to post it, think I need to ask her permission 1st.
