The Biewers got some traditionally colored yorkies from the Stremglen kennels, they did not realize they had gotten a dog/dogs with the recessive gene as they are dormant gene and are a hidden and only become visable when mated with another dog with that gene. Eventually, they had a puppy that displayed the tri colored markings.. it did not happen right away. It is confusing..
