Deb, you are correct, Biewers did not evolve from Partis, HOWEVER.. the Biewer did not occurre 10 years prior to the parti.. according to verified documentation found by Deb Mullins, Joan Gordan had a Parti colored yorkie in one of her litters named "Trippy", born on Dec. 10, 1976.. Joan states in a letter written to Deb, that she had heard of other tri colored yorkies born in England, but this is the first one she had personally seen. Other documentation shows that the Nikkos line was producing Tri colored "Parti" yorkies from Nikko's Rolls Royce Ashley since 1984, actually, the same year that Mr. Biewers yorkie line produced the tri colored yorkshire terrier that was later called the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier ala Pom Pon.
It seems that no matter what side of the POND the yorkies happen to be on.. they produce tri colored dogs if you breed two dogs that carry the recessive genes together. One did not CREATE the other.. they STARTED as Yorkies and YORKIES they remain.
